We audit your booking or shop pages against WCAG 2.1 AA, fix the issues and write the accessibility information the law requires.
from €990
one-time
- Monitoring €149 a year
- Websites built by others: fixes at a fixed price
What has applied since June 2025.
Since 28 June 2025 many online bookings and shops must be accessible.
A booking button you cannot reach with the keyboard is a defect.
Fines go up to €100,000.
Your booking, through other eyes.
Switch on keyboard, screen reader, contrast or colour-blind view and compare before and after.
Example: booking form of Pension Lindenhof with an image, arrival, departure, number of guests, two rooms, a terms checkbox and a “Book now” button. The list of findings describes what is missing in the before view.

How the audit runs.
Automated tests find only part of the problems. We check the rest by hand, with a keyboard and a screen reader, along the paths your customers actually take.
How the BFSG audit runs: Home page, Booking path, Forms, Checkout → Run automated tests, Test by hand: keyboard, screen reader, Rank issues by urgency, Fixes: your OK → Audit report, Accessibility information, Fixes, Monitoring.
Day 1Booking form: error messages are not read out by the screen reader. Ranked as urgent.
What is included.
- Audit of the home page, the key pages and the complete booking, appointment or checkout path against WCAG 2.1 AA
- Tests with keyboard and screen reader, not only with automated tools
- An audit report ranked by urgency, with screenshots and notes on how to fix each issue
- The accessibility information under Annex 3 BFSG, ready to publish
- Fixes on websites we built; for other websites a fixed price up front
- Optionally twelve months of monitoring with a note when new issues appear
What it is not.
- No legal advice. Whether your business is covered is for a lawyer to confirm if in doubt; we show you the criteria.
- No overlay plugin. Such tools put a layer over the page but don't fix the causes.
- No seal and no certification. You get a report you can follow.
Is your website covered?
Three questions give you a first indication. If all three apply, your website is very likely covered by the BFSG.
Does your website address consumers?
Can people book, order or make an appointment on it?
Does your business have ten or more employees, or are both annual turnover and balance sheet total above €2 million?
Prices.
One-time. For websites built by others we quote the fixes at a fixed price.

Common questions.
If consumers can conclude a contract on your website, such as a booking, an order or an appointment, and your business is not a micro-enterprise, very likely yes. Purely informational sites and offers for businesses only are not covered. If in doubt, a lawyer can confirm it.
From €990 for a website with a booking or checkout path. That includes the audit, the report, the accessibility information and fixes on websites we built. For other websites we quote the fixes as a fixed price first.
A description of your service, explanations of how to use it, how it meets the requirements and which authority is responsible. It goes in your terms or another easy-to-find place and must itself be accessible.
No. Overlay plugins put a layer over the page but don't fix the causes in the code, such as missing labels or forms that can't be used with a keyboard. We fix the page itself.
Market surveillance can require issues to be fixed and impose fines of up to €100,000 (§ 37 BFSG). The responsible body is the joint market surveillance authority of the German states for the accessibility of products and services (MLBF) in Magdeburg.
Not for the website itself. Only service contracts concluded before 28 June 2025 may run on until they end, at the latest until 27 June 2030.
Germany's Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) applies to services offered online to consumers since 28 June 2025, such as online shops or booking and appointment paths through which a contract is made. Purely informational sites and offers for businesses only are not covered. Micro-enterprises with fewer than ten employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total of no more than €2 million are exempt. Enforcement lies with the joint market surveillance authority of the German states (MLBF) in Magdeburg; fines go up to €100,000 (§ 37 BFSG).
